There are so many wonderful songs to choose from.  I was going to be a cheesy Jon girl and say either “Happy Birthday” or “White Christmas” because Jon sings lead on these…but I only listen to these songs at certain times of year…May for my birthday, and December obviously for Christmas.

So I guess I would have to say that “Tonight” is one of my favorite songs.  Of course I much prefer hearing it performed now, than the old version.  It has more meaning now than it did back then.  I love watching the guys “interact” more with the crowd during this song.  I love seeing them go into the crowd and dancing around with fans.  The way the guys perform “Tonight” this time around makes me want to get up and dance more!  Of course most of their songs make me want to get up and dance!

And of course, I love changing the lyrics to “la la la la la la Jon Knight!”

Second favorite song

Hmmm…2^nd Favorite song…”Single”.  It is one of the few songs that I won’t skip over 

every time it comes on…and yes….after 4 years with “The Block”, even some of you must admit that there are songs you skip over.  It’s definitely time for some new music!  There are only so many times we can hear the same albums, over and over and over again…

“Single” is one of those songs that I just love to listen to every time it comes on.  It makes me think of so many wonderful memories…”Single” was the song that was sung on Stage B during the Full Service Tour.  My seats for my 1^st concert were about 7 rows up from where Stage B was located during that tour.  When the guys stepped onto that stage, I never thought I would be any closer to them than I was that night!  Now when I hear “Single” I think of the HOT video…LOVE those guys in the video, damn they look good!  I think of Donnie singing along at parties in the club.  Most recently though now I will think of the opening of the NKOTBSB tour. I will forever think it’s missing “Viva la Vida” and BSB’s “The One.”  I love when a song can make you think of specific moments in your life.  After all, isn’t that what music is supposed to do!

Back in the day, it was always 100 percent Jon Knight.  I was a quiet, shy girl, so Jon was the perfect guy for a 7 year old to love!  I also had a crush on Joey because, well, he was the baby of the group, and I was a young fan, so it fit.

Today, I can honestly say, I LOVE them all, but Jonathan will ALWAYS be #1!  Once I met Jon, in the ocean at Half Moon Cay on Cruise 2010, I knew there would NEVER be a moment when he wasn’t my #1!  How can I not love the man I swam with briefly, who kissed me goodnight, had coffee with after photo op, and who brought me up to the VIP deck for my birthday on cruise 2010!?  Jon is the only one who makes me so nervous that I don’t know what to say.  He’s also the only man who brings me to tears after a moment with him!

  

But then there’s Donnie…who after meeting him in 2009, briefly took Jon’s place at #1, that is until the Cruise 2010 when Jon Knight stole his rightful place back!  Donnie has this personality about him that makes anyone fall for him.  His heart is so big, and he wants to give so much to the fans.  How can you not fall for that?  Back in the day he scared me.  He was “the bad boy,” and then after meeting him, I have to wonder how anyone could think Donnie was the bad boy.  He is such a sweet man.  I am blessed to know him!

How did you become a fan?

I don’t remember how I became a fan. As Jon Knight said to me in a meet & greet during the Casi-NO Tour, I “was like 7 the first time around.” Yes, I was one of the younger fans. Sorry I made you feel old Jon! I remember having the tapes, and a poster of the guys hanging in my room. I remember having the puzzles, and my Barbie’s ALWAYS married one of the New Kid’s. Ken was definitely shoved to the side when I got the New Kid’s dolls (which I still have!) How I became a New Kid’s fan, I don’t remember. I’m sure someone at school introduced me to the New Kid’s, or maybe it was the cartoon. I don’t remember!

I remember being a fan of Joey’s “I love you came too late” and “stay the same” when he went solo after the break-up.

As for the reunion…I was late to the reunion game. I remembered seeing they were getting back together, but I was very much into country music at the time, and was out of the “boyband” period in my life. I thought it would be fun to see how the reunion worked out, but never saw much after that since all I basically listened to was country music…I never listened to pop radio stations. I remember hearing they were going to be on the Today Show, but I was working, and didn’t think much about missing it. A couple of the girls I work with had tickets to their ’08 reunion show at Mohegan Sun, and I remember being jealous they were going, and wanted to see pictures! When the guys announced the Full Service Tour (and that they were coming back to Mohegan), the girls at work and I decided we all needed to go this time…that it would be fun for all of us to go! That was when I bought “The Block” album, and when this true crazy journey as a fan for me really began…even though I was a fan back in the day….It took me until June 2009 to really become sucked backed into the fan world…and I haven’t looked back since!!!
